Keep Our Schools and Community Safe- Our county has seen a rise in criminal activity. Lea C.S. Simmons will fight to continue our county's commitment to fully fund law enforcement and ensure that our officers have adequate resources to deter and stop crime. Lea C.S. Simmons will deploy resources to crime hotspots and crack down on cashless bail to keep violent criminals off our streets.

Illegal Immigration– Lea C.S. Simmons will work every day to secure our border, stop illegal immigration, end human trafficking, institute mandatory jail time for human and sex traffickers, and increase border security technology to keep drugs, cartels, and international gangs out of our schools and community.

Cut Property Taxes– Lea C.S. Simmons will fight to reform our property tax system and cut property taxes for seniors and families.

Our Schools- Lea C.S. Simmons will support Governor Abbott's Parental Bill of Rights safeguarding the Rights of Texas Parents to make education decisions for their children. Lea C.S, Simmons will pass school safety laws including suicide prevention measure, increasing the number of security personnel, and building renovations to make schools more secure.

Flood Control and Prevention- Lea C.S. Simmons will fight to ensure flood control and prevention measures are in place to prevent flooding in our communities.

Suprise Medical Billing- Lea C.S. Simmons will fight to end surprise medical billing in which patients receive unexpected bills for medical care they believe was covered by their health insurance.

Creating And Keeping Jobs- As a successful small business owner, Lea C.S. Simmons knows that small businesses are at the heart of our economy. Lea C.S. Simmons will support policies that jump start our economy and get small businesses working and adding new jobs. And once those jobs are created, count on Lea C.S. Simmons to make sure they stay in Texas!
